Welcome to Tuggerah Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy.  We are located on the Pacific Highway within the Tuggerah Straight Commercial Centre.

In light of the current Greater Sydney lockdown, physiotherapy falls under medical care and hence we will remain open with risk minimalisation procedures.  Please bring a mask to the clinic and the treatment area will be sanitised between every patient.  If you have cold or flu symptoms, please reschedule your appointment to maximise the safety of other patients.  In keeping with risk minimalisation, our staff have already been fully vaccinated by both injections.

We are a small, unique practice established 11 years ago with a reputation in providing expert one-to-one care.  All treatments are performed by the practice principal, Ricky Li, who has 20 years of experience and is one of the few physiotherapists on the Central Coast to have obtained the post-graduate Masters Degree titling of APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist via the University of Sydney.

Ricky has a special interest in the differential diagnosis of complex musculoskeletal disorders, especially in regards to spinal pain.  A thorough, one-to-one consultation is always provided, and we try to involve the patient in the development of treatment strategies.  Specifically targeted manual therapy or mobilisation/manipulative techniques are often used under the guidance of the latest scientific evidence, over the preference of electrical machines.  After a mechanical pattern is established, a self-management program is encouraged where possible, so as to minimise the need for regular ongoing maintenance reviews.

Direct health fund rebates are available via Healthpoint for private consultations.  A doctor’s referral is not necessary for private consultations.  We are also accredited to treat Workcover, Veteran’s Affairs, and eligible patients bulk-billed under the Medicare EPC programme and the NDIS.
